COLLECTION FOR CHURCH IN EASTERN EUROPE
Next Sunday is the annual collection for the Church in Eastern Europe. This appeal supports the continuing efforts to strengthen the church's presence and ministry throughout Central and Eastern Europe. Many at St. Malachi will remember Jan Dolny, the seminarian from Slovakia who was here for his pastoral experience last year. His scholarship for theological studies at Catholic University in Washington is supported by this appeal. There will be a second collection at all Masses. |

St. Malachi
Center invites everyone to breakfast in the hall this Monday, Memorial Day, after 9 AM Mass. During the breakfast, the raffle drawing with a $10,000 first prize will take place. Remaining $20 tickets are available at the back of church. Proceeds support Center programs.

The Catholic Diocese of Cleveland Review Board which assesses the credibility of allegations of sexual abuse of minors is seeking a new member to fill an unscheduled vacancy. ANOINTING OF THE SICK
Bishop Anthony M. Pilla will preside at a special Eucharistic Liturgy including the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick on Sunday, July 3, at the
12:15 Mass in the
Cathedral of Saint John the
Evangelist. The Bishop will be joined in administering this prayer and Sacrament of Healing by our Auxiliary Bishops and priests of the Cathedral. All those who are elderly, chronically or critically ill (including those preparing for serious surgery) are welcome to be anointed at this Mass. You must be of age and use of reason to receive this Sacrament. Please arrive at the Cathedral before 12:00 Noon and follow the instructions of the ushers. Free parking is available in the Rockwell Ave. Cathedral Plaza Garage.
