"SEEKING ANSWERS WHEN WE'RE BATTERED BY
LIFE" - AN EVENING WITH ANTOINETTE BOSCO
Plan to attend an evening with Antoinette Bosco on May 13, at 7:00 pm in St. Malachi Church. The presentation, "Seeking Answers When We're Battered by Life" will discuss how suffering calls into question the goodness of God, the challenges it presents to one's faith and how faith responses lead to authentic mercy, forgiveness and peace. CORPUS CHRISTI CELEBRATION
Any child who received their First Holy Communion this year is invited to join in a diocesan Corpus Christi Celebration with Bishop Anthony M. Pilla on Saturday evening, May 28th at the 4:30 PM Mass at St. John Cathedral. There will be a procession of the children, pictures with the Bishop, and free parking in our Rockwell Ave. garage. No reservations are necessary; simply arrive before 4:15 pm dressed in your communion outfits.
HOLY NAME SOCIETY
The Annual Communion Breakfast, sponsored by the Greater Cleveland Police, Fire & EMS Holy Name Society, will be held on Sunday, May 15, at Our Lady of Angels Church, 3644 Rocky River Drive, at the 9 AM Mass. FAMILY FUN DAY AT JACOBS FIELD- ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY
The St. Vincent de Paul Society is planning a Family Fun Day at Jacobs Field for members of our Diocesan Catholic family. The event will be the Cleveland Indians vs. Toronto Blue Jays baseball game on Sunday afternoon, May 15, 2005, preceded by Mass at Jacobs Field. The tickets will be offered at substantially reduced prices with a portion of the proceeds going to The St. Vincent de Paul Society to help them continue their many special programs to serve the poor and needy within our Diocese.
