BACKDOOR MINISTRY HELP NEEDED

PRAY, FAST AND TAKE ACTION
The Social Action Office of the Diocese of Cleveland has issued an urgent call to the people of Northeast Ohio to fast, to pray, and to take action regarding the genocide that is taking place in the western Sudan region of Darfur. You are asked to call your US Representatives & Senators at 202-224-3121 and urge them to pass the Comprehensive Sudan Peace Act, Senate Bill S.2705, which authorizes $200 million dollars in relief funds for Sudan. Lastly, you are also asked to pray for all those involved in this desperate situation. A simple prayer resource is available at <www.catholicrelief.org>.

COLMAN COURT SENIOR HOUSING
Representatives from Colman Court Senior Housing will be at St. Colman's rectory on Thursday, September 9 from 3-7 PM to distribute applications and answer questions you regarding leasing the new apartments. PEACE, WAR, & THE CHRISTIAN CONSCIENCE

LECTOR WORKSHOP
Please plan now to attend a lector workshop on Tuesday, Oct 5, 7-8:30 PM or Saturday Oct 16, 11 AM-12:30 PM in the church. You are vital to a good liturgy and we are trying to improve its quality. This is mandatory for all new lectors who wish to be on the roster. The attendance of regular lectors is strongly recommended.
