COLLECTION FOR CHURCH IN EASTERN EUROPE
This Sunday is the annual collection for the Church in Eastern Europe. It is also the final weekend that Jan Dolny, our Slovak seminarian, will be with us at St. Malachi. He is returning to Slovakia on Monday to obtain a student visa, which will allow him to begin his theology studies this fall at Catholic University in Washington, DC. His tuition, room and board will be paid by this collection, so your contribution will help Jan. There will be a second collection at all the Masses.
Please Pray for the Deceased:  Mary Dugan, who was buried from St. Malachi this past week, Ronald Houska (Malachi House), Fr. Thomas Hyland, John Caine, Terence Bradesca,

Also for the Sick:  Mary Englert, Tom Erhart, Gert Murphy, Florence Dick,

Banns II  Bill Blough (CSM) Terry Lewis (CSM)

CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations to Geoffrey Kennard and Jeffrey Wilson on their high school graduation! Both have been faithful servers at 9:30 Mass for many years. They were honored at Coffee hour last Sunday. May God bless you!

ROAD CONSTRUCTION PROJECT UPDATE
Superior Viaduct (the one-way street that runs in front of the County Engineers building) is now permanently closed. Vermont (the street next to the church) is now the only way in or out. We anticipate the next phase will be building a tree lawn next to the sidewalk along the church and making a regular sidewalk along the convent. When the work is complete, there will be a continuous sidewalk from the driveway to the corner of W. 25 St. We have permission to park in the lot on Detroit across the street from Massimo di Milano. We will continue to keep you informed. Thank you for your patience and continued cooperation to make this as trouble free as possible for all!
