ST MALACHI COMMUNAL PENANCE SERVICE
All are invited to participate in the Communal Penance Service at St. Malachi this Tuesday evening at 7 PM. Each Sacrament is a communal celebration of God's saving grace; a Communal Penance service gives witness not only to our own sinfulness and need for reconciliation, but especially to our belief that God is merciful and forgiving. It also witnesses to the reality that sin affects the whole community; in the Sacrament of Reconciliation, we celebrate reconciliation with one another. It provides an opportunity to pray for and support one another in our spiritual journey of conversion and more perfect following of Jesus. Several priests will be available for individual confession and absolution. There will be a Communal Penance service at St. Wendelin Church on Sunday, March 28 at 2 PM.
