FR. HRITZ MASS In December, Fr. Paul Hritz will be a priest 50 years. This coming Saturday, he will celebrate the 4:30 Mass with us. There will be coffee hour in the hall following Mass. He has made it very clear that he does not want a Jubilee celebration & we will honor his request. Let us offer thanks to God for him & the 50 years of his priestly ministry.
CAMPAIGN FOR HUMAN DEVELOPMENT This weekend is the 32nd Annual Catholic Campaign for Human Development Appeal to promote peace and justice by supporting self-help projects which seek to break the cycle of poverty. The CHD funds projects on both the local and national level. There will be a second collection at all Masses.
BAKE SALE Please support the bake sale sponsored by our Cleveland L'Arche Community in the hall after Mass today!
ADVENT HEIFER PROJECT This Advent, Social Action invites all to "make a difference" for a needy family in the developing world. Heifer International provides livestock & training to families, which gives both food & income. One cow can produce 4 gallons of milk daily. Each family agrees "to pass on the gift" by giving the first female animal to another family. The cost varies from a chick ($20) to a cow ($500). Look for the table at Mary's shrine beginning next week. It will have more information about Heifer International & a bank to take home for your family's advent giving.
FRUIT BASKETS On Sunday, December 14, between Noon - 2 PM, St. Malachi will again deliver Christmas fruit baskets to the residents of Lakeview and Riverview Hi-Rises. Save the date & call Sr. Francis 216-861-5343.
CENTER HOLIDAY BOUTIQUE St. Malachi Center needs new or "like new" gift items for mothers, fathers, teens, children and toddlers for the annual children's Christmas Boutique on Wednesday, December 17. The children then shop at no cost. Please bring gift items to the Center by December 15. Call Ms. Kim at 216-771-3036.
ENTERTAINMENT BOOKS St. Malachi Center has Entertainment 2004 books available in a combined East-West Side edition in the back of  church, the rectory, at coffee hour, at the Mart and at the Center. Cost is $25 before December 2; after, $30.
MALACHI  MART
Malachi Mart is ready for Christmas gifting with gifts, cards, wraps, and decorations. All proceeds benefit the programs of St. Malachi Center.
