| LABOR DAY |
Mass on Monday, Labor Day, is at 9 AM. We invite you to begin the Labor Day holiday by thanking God for the fruits of our labor this past year and for our continuing share in the work of creation.

| MISSION APPEAL |
Next week is our annual mission appeal. We welcome Fr. Al
Naseman, Missionaries of the Precious Blood, who will share with us the work they are doing in Guatemala, Chile and Peru. A 2nd collection will be at all Masses.

| CHRISTIAN FORMATION |
Children from St. Malachi Parish receive religious education in the Community's Christian Formation which begins September 14.

| RCIA JOURNEY OF FAITH |
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a journey of faith for all who want to explore the Catholic
faith. We meet Monday evenings at St. Patrick, starting Sept 15. Consider inviting someone who comes to St.

| WALK/PRAY FOR PEACE |
Come, Walk & Pray! You are invited to join the dedicated and faith-filled men, women and
children at 7 PM every Wednesday in the church parking lot as they walk for peace to Public Square and back.
Prayer works wonders!

OUTING |
The 11th Annual St. Malachi Center Family Golf Outing & Clam Bake is September 12 at
Bob-O-Links Golf Course in Avon. The fee is $90 for the 18-hole scramble at 11:00 AM; the
fee is $60 for the 9-hole scramble at 12:30 PM, (includes a cart, lunch, clam bake & door

Tickets for our annual Reverse Raffle on Friday, September
26, at Brennan's Party Center
are available at the back of church or rectory. An $85 ticket includes a buffet dinner for
two and a chance on the main $3,000 raffle.

Parishioners who are interested in becoming Eucharistic Ministers are asked to contact Fr. Tony (216-861-5343)
by September 22. Requirements: at least 18 years old, Confirmed, Catholic in good standing. Training in October.

"PLANET GREEN"
|
"PLANET' GREEN" Please continue to save empty printer cartridges for the "Planet Green" environmental
project. Cartridges will be recycled & refilled; we receive a rebate for every 25 we collect. They may be dropped off at the church or rectory.

PRISON MINISTRY
|
Soft-bound inspirational books and pamphlets are needed
for our prison ministry and will be distributed to the inmates at the
Cleveland Justice Center. Please bring them to the rectory or place in the
container by Mary’s altar.

FINANCE

Last Sunday's collection was $2,392 ($3,180 budgeted) and $537 (Parish & Community) collected for the Catholic University. Your continued support is deeply appreciated.
