WELCOME! St. Malachi welcomes Stephan Kanuk, a seminarian from the Diocese of Kosice in Slovakia. Stephan is in the U.S. as part of his pastoral training. He will be with us for a couple of months to experience parish life & ministry. 
CATHOLIC SCHOOLS This week, we Celebrate Catholic Schools! We honor our long history of support for Catholic education at Urban Community School (St. Malachi School before 1968), the Ursuline Sisters, school parents & students.
RENEWAL WEEKENDS We Are The Church: A Call To Mission” will be held February 8-9 for women and March 8-9 for men at St. Malachi Church. The Renewal Weekends will be a time for prayer, study, action and mission. Applications are available at the church doors. Free-will offering: $25. For info, call Fr. SOUP FOR THE SOUL BENEFIT The third annual Soup for the Soul benefit for St. Malachi Center will be held on Thursday, April 3 from 6:30 to 10:30 PM at Window’s on the River, located in the Flats. WALK FOR PEACE The Social Action Commission invites all to meet in parking lot by the side of church every Wednesday at 7 PM and join in a Prayer Walk for Peace.  Prayer IS powerful! For information, contact Fred Leonard 440-331-8325.
LATIN AMERICAN MISSIONS Building One Church in One America! Next weekend is the annual appeal for the Latin American Missions. This collection is a major source of financial support for our Diocesan Mission in El Salvador. There will be a second collection at all the Masses.
MALACHI RUN The 23rd Annual St. Malachi Run will be held Saturday, March 15. Start times: 2 Mile: 9 AM, 5 Mile: 9:35 AM. Pre-registration $15; race day $18. Registration forms at church doors, rectory or call Hermes Sports 623-9933
