Jesus:

In Love, He came to teach the world
In Peace, He walked the earth
In Hope, He gave us all a chance to
choose a second birth
In Joy, He used his holiness to be our
Christ and Lord
In Spirit, He is forever near to be our
true reward

May you, your families and all your
loved ones have a most
Blessed Christmas!

AN INVITATION FROM YOUR LOCAL CATHOLIC CHURCHES

As Catholics, we believe that Jesus became one of us
to point out that while it is human to err
it is divine to forgive.
We as Catholic Churches
acknowledge that we have offended others
including many of you who walked with us in the past.
As Christmas draws near,
may we beg forgiveness
and invite you to
“Come home for Christmas”
The greatest gift we can give God
is the gift of a contrite heart.
Allow us at this Holy Season
to ask forgiveness from our God and from you.
Of you we ask
the greatest of courtesies:
that you consider extending to us
the forgiveness and reconciliation we seek
that we may all be made more whole.

There will be a Taize Prayer Service at St. Wendelin Church Sunday evening, December 21 at 6:00 p.m. This quiet hour of prayer, chant and holy silence will be lead by the combined music ministries of St. Wendelin, St. Patrick and St. Malachi Churches. All are welcome.
 EPIPHANY
CELEBRATION
Rejoice!
Our annual Epiphany Celebration and Potluck will take place on Sunday afternoon, January 4th at 4:00 PM. The fun begins in church with a Festival of Lessons and Carols and will be followed immediately by supper in the hall. ALL ARE WELCOME!
A highlight of the afternoon will surely be “The Bells of Glocken,” a play presented by our children's choir. This legend tells of a village that has been given a set of bells by their kindly ruler. Each of the four bells reminds them to be people of hope, love, peace and joy….but when the king dies they forget how to behave! Enter three OTHER kings, following a star that leads….you can probably guess the rest!
Main course and beverages for the potluck will be provided...bring salads, side dishes or dessert. Program information, call Charlene McElwee at the rectory. Potluck information call Arlene Corrigan (440-808-0329 or Stephanie Taylor-Ayers (216-939-1878).
