NEW YEAR'S
DAY
On Wednesday, New Year’s Day, we celebrate the Solemnity of Mary, the Mother of God and the World Day of Prayer for Peace. Our Holy Day Masses will be Tuesday at 4:30 & Wednesday at 9:30, 11:00 AM & 12:30 PM
EPIPHANY
FESTIVAL
All are invited to attend the Epiphany Celebration next Saturday, January 4 at 6 PM for Evening Prayer and Festival of Carols, followed by a potluck dinner in the hall. Please bring a side dish to share.

BENEFIT
The 4th annual Benefit Dance for Fr. Jim O'Donnell's Little Brothers & Sisters of the Eucharist will be held on Friday, January 17 from 7 PM - Midnight at St. Clarence Hall, 30106 Lorain Ave., North Olmsted. SOUP FOR THE SOUL The third annual Soup for the Soul benefit for St. Malachi Center will be held on Thursday, April 3 from 6:30 to 10:30 PM at Window’s on the River, located in the Flats. Tickets are $35. The Center needs gifts & services for the silent auction & raffle. Volunteers are also needed before and during the event. PICTURE DIRECTORY

If you did not participate in the picture-taking sessions, but would like a Picture Directory, send or drop off $5.00 at the rectory no later than January 17, 2003. Checks should be payable to Lifetouch Church Directories.

MINISTRY
Inspirational books and pamphlets are being collected for our prison ministry to be distributed to the inmates at the Cleveland Justice Center. Please bring them to the rectory or place in the container near the creche.

1. Sunday: Backdoor Ministry Brunch, 8:30-9:30 AM in the hall
Coffee Hour after 9:30 Mass in the Hall
Angle Drawing after 12:30 Mass; proceeds for building maintenance. Tickets available in vestibule
2. Monday: Meal for the poor, 6:00 PM in the parish hall.
3. Tuesday: New Year’s Eve Vigil Mass, 4:30 PM
4. Wednesday: New Year’s Day Masses, 9:30, 11:00, 12:30
5. Thursday: Eucharistic Holy Hour for peace at 11:00 AM; Mass at Noon.
6. Saturday: Feast of the Epiphany Vigil Mass, 4:30 PM 
Epiphany Celebration, 6 PM in church, followed by potluck dinner in hall, all welcome
8. Sunday: Feast of the Epiphany, Coffee Hour after 9:30 Mass in the Hall
SUPPORT WELCOME A meal without cost is served to the needy on Mondays at 6 PM in the parish hall. Doughnuts, sandwiches, and coffee are served daily at the rectory. Volunteers are needed, especially weekdays. Call Sr. Francis: 216-861-5343.

Malachi Mart will be open New Year’s Eve until 6 PM, closed New Year’s Day, and will reopen on Thursday with a regular schedule the rest of the week.
Stop in at the Mart and support the Center. Most items on sale!
Malachi Mart
has new extended hours to better serve shoppers after-work and after 12:30 Mass: 10 AM-6 PM, Tuesday through Saturday; 10 AM-2 PM Sunday. Shop at the Mart & help support St. Malachi Center programs!

"PLANET GREEN" Please continue to save empty printer cartridges for the "Planet Green" environmental project. Cartridges will be recycled & refilled. They may be dropped off at the church or rectory.
