NEIGHBORHOOD FORUM On Saturday, April 27 from 1- 3 PM there will be a forum on affordable housing & neighborhood development at St. Malachi Hall. There will be representatives from the Mayor’s Office, City Council, City & County Planning, County Commissioners, neighborhood development & housing groups. Save the date & plan to attend!
CVS-CLEVE. MARATHON The Annual CVS-Cleveland Marathon will take place Sunday, April 28. The course runs up W. 25 from Lorain to Detroit & out Detroit; the return route is along Detroit & crosses the Detroit-Superior Bridge. A dashboard "pass" to allow you to cross for church access is available at the church doors.
"PLANET GREEN" PROJECT Next Sunday, April 21, is Earth Day. We are launching "Planet Green" as a project towards helping the environment. Place your empty inkjet printer cartridges in a zip-lock bag and drop them at the rectory or in the container by the main entry of church. They will be refilled & recycled. Details next week .

CONFIRMATION St. Malachi will celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation on Tuesday, April 30 at St. Wendelin Church. Adults and teenagers who have not yet been confirmed, please contact Fr. Tony (216-861-5343) to begin preparation.

TUTORS NEEDED

Urban Community School is looking for adult volunteers to tutor elementary students in Reading and Math for the After-School Tutoring Program, Tuesday or Thursday, 2:30-4:30 PM. Contact Patty Schlecht 216-861-4706.

ST. MALACHI CENTER RAFFLE

St. Malachi Center’s annual benefit raffle supports Center programs & activities. The drawing is May 27, Memorial Day. Main prize is $10,000; tickets are $20, with 2,500 tickets printed. Attached to today’s bulletin is a copy of Bishop Pilla’s letter establishing a commission led by William Denihan to review diocesan policy & policy implementation when there is allegation of sexual abuse.
EASTER
SEASON
The Church celebrates Easter for 50 days, until Pentecost. To assist your Easter celebration, a reflection booklet "Living Stones" is available at the church doors. Please take one home with you!

LENTEN CROSSES

We are asking that all nail crosses carried throughout Lent be brought back to the church and placed in the large wooden cross or in the basket at the foot of the cross. They will be used again next year. Thank you.

The Gospel Music Fest, scheduled for April 26, has been cancelled. The new date will be announced soon.
