Attached to today’s bulletin is a copy of Bishop Pilla’s letter establishing a commission led by William Denihan to review diocesan policy & policy implementation when there is allegation of sexual abuse.
EASTER
SEASON
The Church celebrates Easter for 50 days, until Pentecost. To assist your Easter celebration, a reflection booklet "Living Stones" is available at the church doors. Please take one home with you!
GOSPEL
MUSIC FEST
On Friday, April 26, starting at 7 PM we invite you to a Gospel Music Fest in church, featuring the St. Malachi Choir and several area choirs. A reception will follow in the hall. Save the date, plan to attend, invite a friend!
LENTEN
OUTREACH UPDATE
Your response to our Lenten outreach project for the people of Teotopeque, El Salvador, has proved to be a beautiful outpouring of love, compassion & generosity. So far, we have collected $6,877.13 for shoes & church repair. Please return your envelope as soon as possible so we can send a check to Fr. King. Thank you!
NEIGHBORHOOD
FORUM
On Saturday, April 27 from 1- 3 PM there will be a forum on affordable housing & neighborhood development at St. Malachi Hall. There will be representatives from the Mayor’s Office, City Council, City & County Planning, County Commissioners, neighborhood development & housing groups. Save the date & plan to attend!
CONFIRMATION St. Malachi will celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation on Tuesday, April 30 at St. Wendelin Church. Adults and teenagers who have not yet been confirmed, please contact Fr. Tony (216-861-5343) to begin preparation.

TUTORS NEEDED

Urban Community School is looking for adult volunteers to tutor elementary students in Reading and Math for the After-School Tutoring Program, Tuesday or Thursday, 2:30-4:30 PM. Contact Patty Schlecht 216-861-4706.

4. Thursday: Eucharistic Holy Hour for peace at 11:00 AM; Mass at Noon.
5. Saturday: Children's Choir rehearsal, 2 PM in the church, all children 7+ welcome
6. Sunday: Coffee Hour after 9:30 Mass in the Hall

SUPPORT WELCOME

A meal without cost is served to the needy on Mondays at 6 PM in the parish hall. Doughnuts, sandwiches, and coffee are served daily at the rectory. Volunteers are welcome (216-861-5343).

UCS OPENINGS

ST. MALACHI CENTER RAFFLE

St. Malachi Center’s annual benefit raffle supports Center programs & activities. The drawing is May 27, Memorial Day. Main prize is $10,000; tickets are $20, with 2,500 tickets printed.
