This weekend is
the annual appeal to support evangelization efforts among Native &
African Americans. The appeal supports national and local projects. A
second collection will be taken at all the Masses. |

RITE: ELECTION |
This Sunday, our Candidates in the RCIA journey of
faith celebrate the Rite of Election with Bishop Pilla, the final step as
they prepare for full reception into the Church at Easter. The Rite of
Sending ceremony will take place at the 12:30 Mass. Please keep the RCIA
members in your prayers. |

| LENTEN
OUTREACH PROJECT FOR EL SALVADOR |
During Lent, we have established an
outreach project to
provide shoes for children & assist with church repairs in the
villages served by Fr. John King of our Diocesan Mission Team in
Teotopeque, El Salvador. We ask each individual & family to make a
daily sacrifice of their choice, perhaps $.50 or $1 per day & donate
the money saved. Special envelopes are available at the church doors; they
can be returned in the collection basket. Please make checks payable to St.
Malachi Benefit Fund; 100% of all funds will be sent to El Salvador. |

CONFIRMATION |
St. Malachi will celebrate the Sacrament of
Confirmation on Tuesday, April 30 at St. Wendelin Church. Adults and
teenagers who have not yet been confirmed, please contact Fr. Tony (216)

PRISON
MINISTRY |
Inspirational books and pamphlets are being collected
for the diocesan prison ministry to be distributed to the inmates who are
visited weekly. Bring them to the rectory or place in the container by the
Blessed Virgin statue. |

FAITH SHARING |
Faith-sharing groups are individuals who gather
regularly to share their spiritual journey & support each other.
Three groups are forming now to meet
