LENT BEGINS |
Lent begins Ash
Wednesday, February 13, a day of fast & abstinence. Note the Mass
schedule with distribution of Ashes above; let us also remember the ashes
of September 11. A Lenten flyer of spiritual & personal growth
opportunities is attached the Bulletin. Earthen
Vessels, a daily reflection booklet is available at the
church doors. |

MISSIONS to MINORITIES |
Next weekend is the annual appeal to support
evangelization efforts among Native & African Americans. This appeal,
which began in 1884, supports national and local projects. A second
collection will be taken at all Masses. |

CONFIRMATION |
St. Malachi will celebrate the Sacrament of
Confirmation on Tuesday, April 30 at St. Wendelin Church. Adults and
teenagers who have not yet been confirmed, please contact Fr. Tony (216)
861-5343 to begin preparation. |

During Lent,
families with young children are invited to join S.M.A.R.T.
(St. Malachi Adults Raising Toddlers) for Lenten fish fries on Fridays at

MINISTRY |
Inspirational books and pamphlets are being collected
for the diocesan prison ministry to be distributed to the inmates who are
visited weekly. Bring them to the rectory or place in the container by the
Blessed Virgin statue. |

FAITH SHARING |
Faith-sharing groups are individuals who gather
regularly to share their spiritual journey & support each other.
Three groups are forming now to meet
