RETIRED RELIGIOUS APPEAL This weekend is the annual appeal for Retired Religious. This national collection supports many retired Sisters & Brothers who served God's people for many years for little or no pay, are now retired and whose community retirement funds are inadequate to support them. JESSE TREE SYMBOLS In Catholic tradition, the symbols displayed in church are from the "Jesse Tree," which represents the spiritual heritage of Jesus. Many families use this tradition with prayer & scripture to prepare for Christmas.
