This Sunday between Noon -2 PM, St. Malachi is delivering Christmas fruit baskets to the residents
of Lakeview & Riverview Hi-Rises. Come share a bit of the St. Malachi spirit! Please meet at the Center at Noon.

| RETIRED RELIGIOUS APPEAL |
This weekend is the annual appeal for Retired Religious. This national collection supports many retired Sisters
& Brothers who served God's people for many years for little or no pay, are now retired and whose community
retirement funds are inadequate to support them. There will be a second collection after all Masses.

JESSE TREE SYMBOLS |
In Catholic tradition, the symbols displayed in church are from the "Jesse Tree," which represents the spiritual
heritage of Jesus. Many families use this tradition with prayer & scripture to prepare for Christmas.

CENTER HOLIDAY BOUTIQUE |
St. Malachi Center needs new or "like new" gift items for mothers, fathers, teens, children & toddlers for the
annual children's Christmas Boutique this Wednesday,
December 12. Volunteers are needed to assist children in gift selection & wrapping. Please bring gift items to the Center by this Tuesday, Dec. 11 . Cathy: 216-771 -3036.

ADVENT SERIES |
Our Advent
Series, "Christmas - An Adult
Perspective," began last Sunday & continues Dec. 9 & 16, 7-8:30 PM, with prayer, reflection & small group discussion on the Christmas Gospels. The presenter is Mary Jane Treichel.

WORD AND SONG |
Our first prayer service with Gospel Music in church before the Monday Night Meal was
a joyful, heart-warming experience. Please join us with our neighborhood friends from
5-5:15 PM on Mondays, December 10 & 17.
