HUNGER BENEFIT |
The St. Patrick (Bridge) annual Thanksgiving Dinner
Benefit for their St. Vincent de Paul Society programs is this Sunday,
November 11, from 12:00-3 PM, Donation: $8; Boutique at the Dinner;
raffle drawing.

CAMPAIGN FOR H UMAN
DEVELOPMENT |
Next weekend is the 31st Annual Catholic Campaign for
Human Development Appeal to promote peace and justice by supporting
self-help projects. Our diocese is redoubling its efforts to fund
programs that break the cycle of poverty in our communities and offer a
sense of security. There will be a second collection at all Masses. |

"THE HOLY LONGING " |
Next Sunday, November 18, Fr. Tony and Fr. Jim O’Donnell
will participate in a large group discussion of Ronald Rolheiser’s
book "The Holy Longing: The Search for a Christian
Spirituality." All are welcome to attend even if you have not read
the book. The facilitators will be Mary Jane Treichel, Lou Keim and
Carole Dlouhy. |

"READING BUDDIES" |
Volunteers are needed to help children improve their
reading skills through the Reading Buddy
Program at St. Malachi Center.Training session on Tuesday,
