PROGRAM
UPDATE |
Kevin
McKenna has begun his second year (of four) of formation for the
diaconate. Becky McKenna is a candidate in the pastoral ministry
certification process. This coming Saturday, Kevin will be admitted to
Candidacy, in which the Church officially recognizes him as one
preparing deacon ordination. See the reflection attached to the
bulletin. |

ADVENT PLANNING |
There will be a joint first planning meeting for the Advent/Christmas
season this Tuesday, September 25 at 7 PM in the rectory. All

| REVERSE RAFFLE |
Our annual reverse raffle
is this Friday, Sept. 28, at Brennan’s Party Center. Tickets are
available at the back of church or rectory. An $85 ticket includes a
buffet dinner for two & a chance on the main $3,000 raffle.

EUCHARIST MINISTERS |
Parishioners who are interested in becoming
Eucharistic Ministers are asked to contact Fr. Tony (216-861-5343) by
October 1. Requirements: at least 18 years old, Confirmed, Catholic in
good standing. Training in October. |

CONTRA DANCE |
All are welcome to come for an evening of Contra
Dancing on Saturday, September 29 in the hall! There is a potluck
beginning at 6 PM, with a dance lesson & dancing following. $6.

CATHOLIC COMMUNI-
CATIONS |
Catholic
presence in the media. Proceeds support radio, print media and video
projects such as the Sunday televised Mass. There will be a second
collection at all Masses next weekend. |

Holy Longing DISCUSSION |
Discussion groups for the book Holy Longing
will begin in early October, so you are encouraged to keep reading! A
flyer listing the dates, times and places of discussion will be
available next week. |

Commission "charity of the month" appeal for September is the shower program at St. Malachi Center. Needed
