JOURNEY OF FAITH |
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
(RCIA) is a journey of faith for all seeking to explore the Catholic faith. We meet Monday evenings at St. Patrick, starting Sept. 10. Now is the time to invite those who have found a home at St. Malachi, but are not in full communion with us. Call Mary Jane Treichel or Fr. Tony at 861-5343. |

SERVICE

On Tuesday, September 11, at 7 PM, there will be a "Celebration of Service" in church followed by an ice cream social for all who serve at St.
Malachi: readers, Eucharistic Ministers, cantors, servers, ushers, Backdoor Ministry,
Monday Night Meal, office helpers, Friendly Visitor, etc. For information, call the office (216) 861-5343. |

REVERSE RAFFLE |
Tickets for our annual reverse raffle Friday, September 28, at Brennan's Party Center are available at the back of church or rectory. An $85 ticket includes a buffet dinner for two and a chance on the main $3,000 raffle. |

PRAYER GROUP |
The contemplative prayer group is forming. It will meet on alternate Wediiesday evenings beginning at 7 PM, September 12, at St. Patrick Church rectory. For information, call Mary Jane Treichel at (216) 861-5343. |

MALACHI MART HRS |
The Mart will be open this Sunday, August 26 from 10 AM-Noon so staff and volunteers can enjoy the picnic at
Lakewood Park. The Mart will be closed next Sunday, September 2 for the Labor Day holiday. |

OF THE MONTH |
The Social Action
Commission has begun a "charity of the month" appeal to
support the St. Malachi Ministries. For
August, school supplies for neighborhood
children can be left in the box in the front of church. |

A meal without cost is served to the needy on Mondays at 6 PM in the parish hall. Doughnuts, sandwiches, and
