FR. WALLACE ROTH — R.I.P.
|
Let us pray for the repose of the soul of Fr. Wallace Roth, who died July 18 and was buried July 24. Fr. Roth
served as Pastor of St. Malachi from 1969-1973, a time of great change in the church, the city and St. Malachi. He was Pastor during the early years of Urban Community School and the formative years of the Community of
St. Malachi. As Fr. Ed Kordas said in the funeral homily, Fr. Roth was "one of a kind" who "always told you what he thought directly."
We thank God for his priestly ministry and pray that he may rest in peace.
