This weekend is the annual appeal for the
Church in Eastern Europe This collection funds nearly 1,200 projects in 22
Central & Eastern European countries. There will be a second collection at
all Masses.

GOLF OUTING

The 9th Annual St. Malachi Center Invitational
Golf Outing is July 29 at Bob O'Link Golf Course, Avon beginning at 9 AM; the
9-hole tournament begins at 11:30 AM. Fees: $80 per golfer for 18 holes, $45 for
9 holes (includes a cart, lunch & steak dinner). For non-golfers, dinner is

FAITH & SHARING RETREAT

There is a Faith and Sharing Retreat
August 15-19 at St. Jospeh Christian Life Center. The retreat is based on the
vision & spirituality of Jean Vanier & is a shared journey of faith,
prayer & celebration for all people, "rich or poor, weak or strong, big
or small." Young adults are especially welcome. Fr. Al Krup will be the

S.M.A.R.T. PICNICS

St. Malachi Adults Raising Toddlers (S.M.A.R.T.) will
meet July 27 and August 10 on the far side of the Kiwanis Pavilion at
Lakewood Park for a picnic supper, playground fun and a family movie at
sundown. Bring your own meat to grill, drinks, picnic supplies, and a dish
to share. This week’s movie will be Willie Wonka.
