LOVING PARENTS NEEDED

Bishop Anthony Pilla and Children and Family Services are asking for your help in finding permanent parents for over 2,000 beautiful children in Cuyahoga County. These children, abused and neglected, need the love and sense of belonging that only a caring family can give. EASTERN EUROPE Next weekend is the annual appeal for the Church in Eastern Europe This collection funds nearly 1,200 projects in 22 Central & Eastern European countries. There will be a second collection at all the Masses.

GOLF OUTING

The 9th Annual St. Malachi Center Invitational Golf Outing is July 29 at Bob OLink Golf Course, Avon beginning at 9 AM; the 9-hole tournament begins at 11:30 AM. Fees: $80 per golfer for 18 holes, $45 for 9 holes (includes a cart, lunch & steak dinner). For non-golfers, dinner is available for $25. Bring a foursome! FAITH & SHARING RETREAT

There is a Faith and Sharing Retreat August 15-19 at St. Jospeh Christian Life Center. The retreat is based on the vision & spirituality of Jean Vanier & is a shared journey of faith, prayer & celebration for all people, "rich or poor, weak or strong, big or small." Young adults are especially welcome. Fr. Al Krup will be the retreat presenter. Cost: $185 by Aug. 1; $195 after. Call Fr. Jim O'Donnell (566-0531).

"BOOKIES" 
INVITATION

The St. Malachi "Bookies" book club is inviting everyone in the Community & Parish to read the same book and, through small group discussions to be held this Fall, enjoy a collective literary & spiritual growth experience. The book is The Holy Longing - A Search for Christian Spirituality by Ronald Rolheiser. It will be available for sale at the back of church & coffee hour the end of July. S.M.A.R.T.  PICNICS  St. Malachi Adults Raising Toddlers (S.M.A.R.T.) will meet July 13, 27 and August 10 on the far side of the Kiwanis Pavilion at Lakewood Park for a picnic supper, playground fun and a family movie at sundown. Bring your meat to grill, drinks, picnic supplies, and a dish to share. This week's movie will be Dinosaur.
BLOSSOM CONCERT St. Malachi Rejoice and Renew is sponsoring an evening at Blossom Music Center with the Cleveland Orchestra on Saturday, August 18. The cost is $2 land limited bus space is available. Call Rosemary Gray, 216-521-0191.

2. Monday: Meal for the poor, 6:00 PM in the parish hall.
3. Wednesday: Quiet prayer before the Eucharist, 5:30-6:30 PM in church, all welcome
4. Thursday: Eucharistic Holy Hour for peace at 11:00 AM; Mass at Noon.
5. Saturday: Christmas in July, 10 AM - 1 PM, all welcome, in the Hall
6. Sunday: Coffee Hour after 9:30 Mass in the Hall
SUPPORT WELCOME

A meal without cost is served to the needy on Mondays at 6 PM in the parish hall. Doughnuts, sandwiches, and coffee are served daily at the rectory. Volunteers are welcome (216-861-5343).
