The Church celebrates Easter Day all this week -- Sunday to Sunday -- with great solemnity and joy. The Easter season continues for fifty days, until the great feast of Pentecost.

Please take the Easter reflection booklet Feed My Lambs (based on the daily Scripture readings of the Easter season) found at the doors of the church. Please take one home with you!

A special word of thanks and appreciation to John Retar, who completes his seminary intern program at St. Malachi today. He will be returning to St. Mary Seminary for the rest of the year. John has been a wonderful blessing to St. Malachi and will be greatly missed. Thank you John! May God's blessing be with you!

THANKS
A special word of thanks to all who came out and helped to clean and decorate the church these past two weeks.  Your presence and hard work helped beautify our church for Holy Week & Easter. God Bless!
PRAYER GROUP The Contemplative Prayer Group is now forming and will meet on Wednesday, April 18 at 7 PM at St. Patrick Church rectory. There will be six meetings on alternate Wednesdays. Call Mary Jane Treichel (216) 861-5343.
PYX RECALL Pyxes are available in the sacristy for those who wish to bring Communion to those who are home-bound. We ask you to return them when no longer needed. We ask your help in this; at present, we have few pyxes available.
CONFIRMA- TION St. Malachi will celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation on May 8 here at St. Malachi Church. Any adult or teenager who has not yet been confirmed, please contact Fr. Tony (216-861-5343) to begin preparation

The Octave of Easter: April 15-22:
1. EASTER SUNDAY: No Coffee Hour today
2. Easter Monday: 
City Year, 9 AM - 3 PM, Monday-Friday, youth camp, in the school
Meal for the poor, 6:00 PM in the parish hall.
3. Easter Wednesday: 
Quiet prayer before the Eucharist, 5:30-6:30 PM in church, all welcome
4. Easter Thursday: 
Eucharistic Holy Hour for peace at 11:00 AM; Mass at Noon.
5. Easter Saturday:
No Children's Choir today
6. Second Sunday (Octave) of Easter:
Coffee Hour after 9:30 Mass in the Hall 
SUPPORT WELCOME A meal without cost is served to the needy on Mondays at 6 PM in the parish hall. Coffee, sandwiches and doughnuts are served daily at the rectory. 
Volunteers are welcome (216-861-5343).
UCS SCHOOL OPENINGS Pre-school evaluations for 3-year olds applying to enter the Urban Community School Montessori program for 2001-2001 is April 9 & 10. Kindergarten screening is April23 & April 24. Evaluations for open slots in all other
grade levels will be scheduled on an individual basis. Call Randi Allard, Admissions Director (216) 658-4708.
St MALACHI CENTER RAFFLE  St. Malachi Center's annual benefit raffle supports Center programs & activities. The drawing is May 28, Memorial Day. Main prize is $10,000; tickets are $20. Ticket sellers are needed. To sell tickets, call Mary Ellen Grealis (440) 235-6528 or Pat Donnelly (216) 521-6890. Tickets are available at church or rectory.

WANTED: HELP FOR MART Malachi Mart supports the ministry of St. Malachi Center. The Mart is always looking for volunteers,  to assist in every way.
