SOCIAL CONCERNS SURVEY

Please complete and return the Parish Social Concerns Commission & Community Social Action Committee survey which was passed outlast Sunday. Leave in pew, put in collection basket or mail to rectory.

COMMUNAL PENANCE Lent, calls us to be reconciled with God & one another. We invite you to come & be reconciled at the Communal Penance Service next Sunday, March 25 at 2 PM at St. Patrick or Sunday, April 1 at 2 PM at St. Wendelin.
PRAYER SERVICE  We invite you to share With Him Along the Way: The Women on the Journey, a prayerful reflection focusing on the women who were with Jesus during the Passion, at St. Malachi on Sunday, April 1 at 4 PM in church.
CONFIRMA- TION St. Malachi will celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation on May 8 here at St. Malachi Church. Any adult or teenager who has not yet been confirmed, please contact Fr. Tony (216-861-5343) to begin preparation.
SOUP FOR THE SOUL BENEFIT St. Malachi Center is sponsoring Soup for the Soul benefit on Thursday, March 22 from 6:30 to 10:30 PM at  Brennan's Party Center. Tickets are $30; reservation cards are available at the Center, the rectory or church. 
YOUNG FAMILIES' FISH FRIES During Lent, families with young children are invited to join S.M.A.R.T. (St. Malachi Adults Raising Toddlers) for Lenten fish fries at6 PM. CHURCH CLEANING   Join in the joy of cleaning for Easter on Saturday, March 31, 9AM - Noon. Coffee and pastry provided. Any amount of time you can give will be appreciated. Many hands make light work
US BISHOPS OVERSEAS AID APPEAL Next weekend is the U.S. Bishops Overseas Appeal. The appeal supports the Catholic Relief Services' work with victims of natural disaster & human strife. The Migration & Refugee Services works with people newly arrived  in this country. There will be a second collection during all Masses.

Project AFFORD announces the dedication of the Hritz-O'Donnell and Patrick houses on Friday, March 23, at  Noon at 4115 & 4119 Woodbine Ave. Bishop Anthony Pilla and Mayor Michael White will officiate. All are invited to attend. St. Malachi sponsored the Hritz-O'Donnell House to honor Fr. Paul Hritz & Fr. Jim O'Donnell.

MART TOYS RAFFLE Malachi Mart is raffling several large, stuffed Easter Bunnies & Ducklings. Chances are 25¢ each, 5 for $1, one free chance for each visit to the Mart. Drawing will be March 24.

3. Wednesday: Quiet prayer before the Eucharist, 5:30-6:30 PM in church, all welcome
4. Thursday: Eucharistic Holy Hour for peace at 11:00 AM; Mass at Noon.

Choir Practice for Holy Week & Easter, 7:30 PM in church, all welcome

SUPPORT WELCOME A meal without cost is served to the needy on Mondays at 6 PM in the parish hall. Doughnuts, sandwiches, and coffee are served daily at the rectory. Volunteers are welcome (216-861-5343).

BACKDOOR NEEDS New or gently used men's socks (any color) are desperately needed for the Backdoor Ministry Men's Lg and Xtra Lg sweatshirts and t-shirts are also needed at this time.  Thank you once again for your support.

WANTED: HELP FOR MART Malachi Mart supports the ministry of St. Malachi Center. The Mart is always looking for volunteers,  to assist in every way.
