MISSIONS to MINORITIES This Weekend is the annual appeal to support evangelization efforts among Native & African Americans. The  appeal supports national and local projects. A second collection will be taken at all the Masses.
FAREWELL! WELCOME! St. Malachi bids a sad farewell to Martin Skiadany, who is now at Assumption, Broadview Heights for his next  pastoral experience & welcomes John Stefanica, another seminarian from Slovakia, who will be with us until May.
COMMUNAL PENANCE During Lent, we are called to be reconciled with God & one another. You are invited to conic and be reconciled at our Communal Penance Service this Tuesday, March 6 at 7 PM at St. Malachi, on Sunday, March 25 at 2 PM at St. Patrick, and on Sunday, April 1 at 2 PM at St. Wendelin.
RCIA RITE: ELECTION  This Sunday, our Candidates in the RCIA journey of faith celebrate the Rite of Election with Bishop Pilla, the final  step as they prepare for full reception into the Church at Easter. The Rite of Sending ceremony will take place at the 12:30 Mass today. Please keep the RCIA members in your prayers.
SOUP FOR THE SOUL BENEFIT St. Malachi Center is sponsoring Soup for the Soul benefit on Thursday, March 22 from 6:30 to 10:30 PM at " Brennan's Party Center. Tickets are $30; reservation cards are available at the Center, the rectory or church. BENEFIT The Center needs gifts & services for the silent auction & raffle. Volunteers are also needed before and during the event. For information or reservations, call Peggy Cooney at (440) 835-1959.
YOUNG FAMILIES' FISH FRIES During Lent, families with young children are invited to join S.M.A.R.T. (St. Malachi Adults Raising Toddlers)  for Lenten fish fries at 6 PM. SUPPORT WELCOME A meal without cost is served to the needy on Mondays at 6 PM in the parish hall. Doughnuts, sandwiches and coffee are served daily at the rectory. Volunteers are welcome (216-861-5343).

ST. PAT'S BENEFIT DRAWING Annual Restoration Fund Drawing of St. Patrick Church Restoration Committee, Bridge Ave., St. Patrick's Day, March 17. 1st Prize: $10,000; Donation: $20. Only 2,500 tickets printed. Tickets available at St. Malachi church entrance or rectory.
HOLY WK. CHOIR Parishioners are welcome to join the choir group that will be singing on Holy Thursday, Good Friday and the Easter Vigil. Practice is on Thursday, 7:30 PM in church.

CONFIRMA- TION St. Malachi will celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation on May 8 here at St. Malachi Church. 
Adults and teenagers who have not yet been confirmed, please contact Fr. Tony (216) 861-5343 to begin preparation.
MALACHI RUN The 21st Annual St. Malachi Run is Saturday, March 10. 
Start times: 2 Mile: 9 AM, 5 Mile: 9:35 AM.
Pre-registration $14; race day $17.

BASKTBALL CARNIVAL Urban Community School 3rd Annual Basketball Carnival is Saturday, March 10 from 8:30 AM - 7:30 PM at St. Ignatius High School. For raffle tickets or information, call (216) 829-1006.
MALACHI CENTER RAFFLE  St. Malachi Center's annual benefit raffle supports Center programs & activities. The drawing is May 28, Memorial Day. Main prize is $10,000; tickets are $20, with 2,500 tickets printed.

FAMILY FISH FRY Once again, St. Malachi Adults Raising Toddlers (S.M.A.R.T.) is gathering for Friday Fish Fries during Lent.    On Friday, March 2, meet at Blessed Sacrament Church, 3381 Fulton, at 6 PM. 
Bring booster seat as needed.

WANTED: HELP FOR MART Malachi Mart supports the ministry of St. Malachi Center. The Mart is always looking for volunteers,  to assist in every way. ST. PATRICK DANCE St. Patrick Parish (Bridge) is sponsoring a St. Patrick's Day Dance
