LENT BEGINS Lent begins this Wednesday, February 28. 
Ash Wednesday is a day of fast & abstinence. 
Mass schedule with distribution of Ashes is listed above. 
Today's bulletin has a Lenten flyer with opportunities for spiritual & personal growth during Lent.

MISSIONS to MINORITIES Next weekend is the annual appeal to support evangelization efforts among Native & African Americans The appeal supports national and local projects. A second collection will be taken at all the Masses.
HOLY WK. CHOIR Parishioners are welcome to join the choir group that will be singing on Holy Thursday, Good Friday and the Easter Vigil. Practice is on Thursday, 7:30 PM in church.

CONFIRMA- TION St. Malachi will celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation on May 8 here at St. Malachi Church. 
Adults and teenagers who have not yet been confirmed, please contact Fr. Tony (216) 861-5343 to begin preparation.
MALACHI RUN The 21st Annual St. Malachi Run is Saturday, March 10. 
Start times: 2 Mile: 9 AM, 5 Mile: 9:35 AM.
Pre-registration $14; race day $17.

EUCHARIST MINISTERS  Parishioners who are interested in becoming Eucharistic Ministers are asked to contact Fr. Tony (216) 861- 5343 by March 4. 
Requirements: at least 18 years old, Catholic in good standing. Training in March & April.
WORLD RELIGIONS SERIES "A Look at the Spiritualities of the World's Religions: Hindu, Buddhist, Taoist and Sufi" led by Mike Petit & sponsored by the Community of St. Malachi continues this Sunday from 7-9 PM at St Malachi Center.
St. MALACHI -- JEWISH DIALOGUE The St. Malachi — Fairmount Temple interfaith dialogue continues this Thursday at 7:30 PM at Fairmount Temple. SUPPORT WELCOME A meal without cost is served to the needy on Mondays at 6 PM in the parish hall. Coffee, sandwiches and doughnuts are served daily at the rectory. 
Volunteers are needed, especially weekdays (216-861-5343).
MALACHI CENTER RAFFLE  St. Malachi Center's annual benefit raffle supports Center programs & activities. The drawing is May 28, Memorial Day. Main prize is $10,000; tickets are $20, with 2,500 tickets printed.

Tickets are available at church or rectory.
ST. PAT'S BENEFIT DRAWING The Annual Restoration Fund Drawing of St. Patrick Church Restoration Committee, Bridge Ave., St. Patrick's Day, March 17. 1st Prize: $10,000; Donation: $20. 
Only 2,500 tickets printed. Tickets available at St. Malachi church entrance or rectory.
FAMILY FISH FRY Once again, St. Malachi Adults Raising Toddlers (S.M.A.R.T.) is gathering for Friday Fish Fries during Lent.    On Friday, March 2, meet at Blessed Sacrament Church, 3381 Fulton, at 6 PM. 
Bring booster seat as needed.
SOUP FOR THE SOUL BENEFIT New date and place: St. Malachi Center is sponsoring a benefit, Soup For The Soul, on Thursday, March 22 at Brennan's Party Center, tickets $30. 
Volunteers before and during the event are needed, as well as gifts or services for the raffle.

MALACHI MART

Malachi Mart After a deserved break the Mart has reopened to regular business hours. Volunteers are needed and appreciated! To learn how you can help call (216) 621-1988 or visit our web site!

Malachi Mart hours are: Wednesday - Saturday, 10 AM - 5 PM; Sunday 10 AM - 1:30 PM.

WANTED: HELP FOR MART Malachi Mart supports the ministry of St. Malachi Center. The Mart is always looking for volunteers,  to assist in every way. The Mart is open from 10 AM to 5 PM, Wednesday through Saturday, Sundays from 10 AM to 1:30 PM. For more information, call Bonnie or Jacqui at (216) 621-1988.
ST. PATRICK DANCE St. Patrick Parish (Bridge) is sponsoring a St. Patrick's Day Dance 
on Saturday, March 3, 8 PM to 12 Midnight at the Club (3610 Bridge).
