FEAST of ST. MALACHY  This weekend, we celebrate the feast of our patron, St. Malachy. In this Jubilee Year, we remember the Parish's 135th anniversary, the Community's 25th anniversary & the Center's 15th anniversary.
ELECTION DAY This Tuesday, Nov. 7, is Election Day; polls are open from 6:30 AM-7:30 PM. Voting is both a civic
& religious responsibility, a serious moral obligation & call of our faith. Voting info at church doors.
DEACONS ORDAINED Let us pray and ask God's continued blessings on Ed Smith, Mark Ott & Joe Koopman who will be ordained Deacons Sunday. Ed served his pastoral internship at St. Malachi. God bless their ministry!
WENDELIN BOUTIQUE This Sunday, November 5, is St. Wendelin's Annual Christmas Boutique from 10 AM - 4 PM featuring handmade crafts, pastries, candy, and wonderful food. Refreshments, children's corner, raffle.
UCS SPORT BENEFIT Urban Community School Boosters Club second annual A Night at the Races, to benefit the UCS Sports Program is Saturday, Nov. 11 at 7:00 PM at St. Wendelin Hall. Admission is $5, call (216) 829-1006
HUNGER BENEFIT St Patrick (Bridge) annual Thanksgiving Dinner Benefit Fundraiser for their programs for the needy is Sunday, November 12, from 12:00-3 PM, Donation: $8; Boutique at the Dinner; raffle drawing.
ENTERTAIN- MENT BOOK 2000 St. Malachi Center is selling Entertainment Books 2000: Cleveland Edition which contains "two for one" & 50% off discounts for area restaurants & stores. WEST SIDE CATH. CTR. BENEFIT The West Side Catholic Center's Warm Hearts, Winter Nights benefit is Friday, November 17 at
 Wagner's Country Inn, 30855 Center Ridge Rd., Westlake. Doors open for informal dining & Silent

UCS BOOK FAIR Urban Community School is hosting a Scholastic Book Fair this Wednesday & Thursday, November 8 and 9, from 3-8 PM in the school library. Proceeds benefit the UCS library. All are invited to shop.
MASS FOR HEALING You are invited to participate in a Mass with the Anointing of the Sick on Saturday, Nov. 11 at Noon at Fred Leonard's house, 3455 W. 150 St. Cookout follows. Bring a lawn chair & side dish. Call 671-4938

EUCHARIST MINISTERS NEEDED We know of 10 Catholics who live at the Riverview high rise, who cannot attend Mass regularly & have requested Communion on Sundays. We need Eucharistic ministers willing to commit to one Sunday a month, ideally as part of a team. To volunteer or for more information, call Sr. Francis: (216) 861-5343

3. Tuesday: Advent Liturgy Meeting, 7 PM, in the rectory

4. Wednesday: Quiet prayer before the Eucharist, 5:30-6:30 PM in church, all welcome
5. Thursday: Eucharistic Holy Hour for peace at 11:00 AM; Mass at Noon.

WANTED: HELP FOR MART Malachi Mart supports the ministry of St. Malachi Center. The Mart is always looking for volunteers,  to assist in every way.
