CSM ANNIV LITURGY   On Sunday, October 1, Bishop Anthony Pilla will be celebrating the 11:00 Liturgy in honor of the 25th Anniversary of the Community of St. Malachi. Brunch will follow in the hail. All are invited to attend.
St MALACHI LOOKS TO THE FUTURE REJOICE & RENEW! Our next St. Malachi Looks to the Future.. Rejoice & Renew 'Appreciative Inquiry" town hall meeting is this Wednesday, September 27 from 7-9:30 PM in the hall. We want to hear your story & dreams for  St. Malachi! The Parish and Community are jointly looking to how we can strengthen our ministries  and build on what makes St. Malachi special. The third scheduled meeting date is Saturday, October 14, from 9-11:30 AM in the hall. Please save one of these dates & plan to attend!
CATHOLIC COMMUNI- CATIONS  This weekend is the appeal for the Catholic Communications Campaign. The campaign's goal is to  create a Catholic presence in the media. Proceeds support radio, print media and video projects such
  as the Sunday televised Mass. There will be a second collection at all Masses.
CHURCH ENVELOPES New boxes of envelopes are available at church entrances. They begin next Sunday, October 1. Please assist us with record-keeping by writing your name and address on the first several envelopes you use.
REVERSE RAFFLE Tickets for our annual reverse raffle Friday, October 6, at Casa DiBorrally are available at the back of church or rectory. An $85 ticket includes a surf & turf dinner for 2 & chance on the main $3,000 raffle.
CENTERING PRAYER All are invited to an introduction and presentation on contemplative & centering prayer by Mary Jane Treichel on Wednesday, October 11 at 7 PM in church. For information, call (216) 861-534
SAMARITAN MINISTRY St. Malachi's Samaritan Ministry will be held on Fridays, 1-4:30 PM, October 6, 13, 20, 27 at St. Malachi Center. This 4-session workshop on alcohol & drug addiction is of special value to persons & families affected by addiction. Sessions are free. Registration at the first session. C.E.U.'s & BRCH'S available.

5. Thursday: Eucharistic Holy Hour for peace at 11:00 AM; Mass at Noon.

SUPPORT WELCOME A meal without cost is served to the needy on Mondays at 6 PM in the parish hall. Coffee, sandwiches & doughnuts are served daily at the rectory. Volunteers are needed, especially weekdays (216-861-5343).

NEAR WEST SIDE CHURCHES JUBILEE On Sunday, October 8, all are invited to an open house of the Catholic Churches & instititutions of the Near West Side as part of our Central West District Jubilee 2000 celebration. St. Malachi Church & Center, Malachi Mart, Urban Community School, St. Patrick, St. Emeric, St. Wendelin, and the West
Side Catholic Center will all be open from 2-5 PM. All are invited and encouraged to attend.
BACKDOOR NEEDS Our Backdoor Ministry continues to need men's pants, sizes 32-38, clean, gently used (no holes) men's socks (any color) and L and XL sized men's t-shirts. Thank you!
WANTED: HELP FOR MART Malachi Mart supports the ministry of St. Malachi Center. The Mart is always looking for volunteers,  to assist in every way. The Mart is open from 10 AM to 5 PM, Wednesday through Saturday, Sundays from 10 AM to 1:30 PM. For more information, call Bonnie or Jacqui at (216) 621-1988.
