ST MALACHI LOOKS TO THE FUTURE REJOICE & RENEW! PROCESS  In our St. Malachi Looks to the Future.. Rejoice & Renew "Appreciative Inquiry" process, St. Malachi Parish and Community are jointly looking to how we can strengthen our ministries and build on what makes St. Malachi special. We want to hear from you! You are invited to come share your story and your dreams for St. Malachi at one of our upcoming "Town Hall" meetings. They will be held Sunday, September 10 (6-8:30 PM), Wednesday, September 27 (7-9:30 PM) & Saturday, October 14 (9-11:30 AM) in the hall. Please save one of these dates & plan to attend!
CHRISTIAN FORMATION Children from St. Malachi Parish receive religious education in the Community's Christian Formation. Registration is open for fall classes. Registration forms at the rectory or call Carol Lucic (216) 221-5017.
RCIA JOURNEY OF FAITH The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a journey of faith open to all who seek to explore the Catholic faith. Now may be a good time to invite someone who has come to St. Malachi, but is not in full communion with us. Sessions begin September 18. Call Fr. Tony or Mary Jane at 861-5343.
REVERSE RAFFLE Tickets for our annual reverse raffle Friday, October 6, at Casa DiBorrally are available at the back of church or rectory. An $85 ticket includes a surf & turf dinner for 2 & chance on the main $3,000 raffle.
CELEBRATE SERVICE On Tuesday, September 19, at 7 PM, there is a "Celebration of Service" in church followed by a social for all who serve at St. Malachi: liturgical ministries (readers, Eucharistic Ministers, cantors, servers, ushers) Backdoor Ministry, office, Friendly Visitor, etc. For information, call the office (216) 861-5343.
URBAN SCHOOL BENEFIT Urban Community School's annual benefit, "To Share a Dream" is Saturday, September 16, from 7 to 11 PM at the Nautica Special Events Pavilion. Save the date & plan to attend. Tickets are $90. For tickets or information, call the Urban Community School Office (216) 771-8014.
MALACHI CTR GOLF RAFFLE Hooking? Slicing? Can't make the putt? St. Malachi Center is raffling off five 45-minute golf lessons with Rick Zivsak, golf instructor. Tickets $1 each or 6 for $5, on sale this weekend after all Masses.  Drawing next Saturday, Sept. 2, after 4:30 Mass. For more info, call Joanne Kapitan (440) 237-6557.

1. Sunday: Backdoor Ministry Brunch, 8:30-9:30 AM in the hall

2. Monday: Meal for the poor, 6:00 PM in the parish hall.
3. Wednesday: Quiet prayer before the Eucharist, 5:30-6:30 PM in church, all welcome
-- Urban Community School mandatory parent meeting - St. Wendelin Hall at 7 PM
4. Thursday: Eucharistic Holy Hour for peace at 11:00 AM; Mass at Noon.
5. Sunday: Coffee Hour after 9:30 Mass in the Hall
SUPPORT WELCOME A meal without cost is served to the needy on Mondays at 6 PM in the parish hall. Coffee, sandwiches and doughnuts are served daily at the rectory. Volunteers are welcome (216-861-5343).
BACKDOOR NEEDS Our Backdoor Ministry continues to need men's pants, sizes 32-38, clean, gently used (no holes) men's socks (any color) and L and XL sized men's t-shirts. Thank you!

WANTED: HELP FOR MART Malachi Mart supports the ministry of St. Malachi Center. The Mart is always looking for volunteers,  to assist in every way.
