This Tuesday, August 15, is the feast of the Assumption of Mary, a Holy Day of Obligation. Masses are Monday at 7:00 PM (note special time due to Monday Night meal), Tuesday at 7 AM & 12:00 Noon. |
| CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY APPEAL |
This weekend is the annual appeal for the Catholic University in Washington. Over a century ago, the U.S. bishops saw the need for a graduate center of Catholic theology, philosophy, and research for the
Church; the need is just as great today. There will be a second collection at all the Masses.

JUBILEE |
This Sunday, August 13, all are invited to an open house of the Catholic Churches & instititutions of the Detroit-Shoreway area as part of our Central West District Jubilee 2000 celebration. St. Colman, St. Stephen, Our Lady of Mt Camel, La Sagrada Familia, St. Augustine Manor and Augustine Towers
will all be open from 2-5 PM. All are invited and encouraged to attend. |

ANNUAL MISSION APPEAL |
Next weekend is the annual Mission appeal. We welcome Fr. Thomas Meulemans, Procurator of the Norbertine Missionaries of Peru., South America, who will share the needs of the Church in that area and information about the people they serve. There will be a second collection at all Masses. |

OF FAITH |
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a journey of faith open to all who are interested in exploring the Catholic faith. We meet on Monday evenings at St. Patrick, starting in September.
