COMING: CELEBRANT SINGERS! St. Malachi is blessed to host a concert by the Celebrant Singers this Thursday, August 3 at 7:30 PM.  This ecumenical music ministry is a team of 23 talented young people who share the Gospel message in music, song, and prayer. Bring family & friends to an inspiring, uplifting evening. Free will offering.
WSCC APPEAL TOTAL Our Parish & Community appeal for the West Side Catholic Center's capital campaign collected $6,157, which we will send to the West Side Catholic Center this week. (Original goal = $4,500) Thank you! We will forward any further donations we receive to the West Side Catholic Center.
WANTED: HELP FOR MART Malachi Mart supports the ministry of St. Malachi Center. The Mart is always looking for volunteers,  to assist in every way. The Mart is open from 10 AM to 5 PM, Wednesday through Saturday, Sundays from 10 AM to 1:30 PM. For more information, call Bonnie or Jacqui at (216) 621-1988.
SWENDELIN GARAGE SALE Next Sunday, August 6, St. Wendelin Church is sponsoring their annual Summer Sundae Social and Garage Sale from Noon to 5 PM on the parish grounds, 2281 Columbus Rd. There will be games and contests for children, raffles, and rides. For information, call 861-1141
RCIA JOURNEY OF FAITH The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a journey of faith open to all who are interested in exploring the Catholic faith. We meet on Monday evenings at St. Patrick, starting in September.  Summer is a good time to invite those who have begun to find a home at St. Malachi, but are not in full communion with us. For information, call Mary Jane Treichel or Fr. Tony at 861-5343.
PYXES Pyxes are available in the sacristy for persons who wish to bring Communion to someone who is sick or shut-in at home. When your need ends, please return the pyx when you next come to church.

-- Coffee Hour after 9:30 Mass in the Hall
-- St. Malachi Center Golf Outing, Bob-O-Links, Avon
--Angle Drawing after 12:30 Mass; proceeds for building maintenance. Tickets available in vestibule 2. Monday: Meal for the poor, 6:00 PM in the parish hall.
3. Wednesday: Quiet prayer before the Eucharist. 5:30-6:30 PM in church, all welcome
-- Parish Council meeting, 6:00 PM, in the Center, all welcome.
4. Thursday: Eucharistic Holy Hour for peace at 11:00 AM; Mass at Noon.
-- Celebrant Singers, 7:30 PM in church, all welcome & invited; refreshments follow at Center
5. Sunday: Coffee Hour after 9:30 Mass in the Hall
SUPPORT WELCOME A meal without cost is served to the needy on Mondays at 6 PM in the parish hall. Coffee, sandwiches and doughnuts are served daily at the rectory. Volunteers are welcome (861-5343).
BACKDOOR NEEDS Clean, gently used (no holes) men's socks (any color) and L and XL sized men's t-shirts (white) continue to be needed for the Backdoor Ministry. Thank you!
