This weekend is the annual Peter's Pence Collection. It supports the Pope's charitable & spiritual works around the world. A second collection will be taken up at all Masses. |

JULY 4TH HOLIDAY |
As we celebrate Independence Day, we pray for our country and in thanksgiving for our freedom and for the coming of liberty and justice for all people in our world. Tuesday's Mass will be at 9 AM. |

| FAITH & SHARING
RETREAT |
St. Malachi is hosting a Faith and Sharing Retreat from July 25-28. The retreat is based on the vision and spirituality of Jean Vanier and is a shared journey of faith, prayer and celebration for all people, "who are rich or poor, weak or strong, big or small." The retreat will be a "day program," from 9 AM
with persons returning home about 8 PM. Young adults are especially welcome. Bob Kloos and Jane Ballanger of Beacon Street will be the retreat animators. Call Fr. Jim O'Donnell (566-0531).

A meal without cost is served to the needy on Mondays at 6 PM in the parish hall. Coffee, sandwiches and doughnuts are served daily at the rectory. Volunteers are welcome (861-5343).

GOLF OUTING |
The 8th Annual St. Malachi Center Invitational Golf Outing is July 30 at Bob
(J'Link (Jolt Course, Avon beginning at 9 AM; the 9-hole tournament begins at 11:30 AM. Fees: $75 per golfer for 18 holes, $45
for 9 holes (includes a cart, lunch & steak dinner). For non-golfers, dinner is available for $25.
