Congratulations to Malachi House on breaking ground for its expansion! When completed, Malachi House will be able to serve up to 17 residents. Actual construction is expected to begin later this year. |

The Peter's Pence Collection for the Holy Father supports his charitable and spiritual works around the world. A second collection will be taken up at all Masses next weekend. |
| FAITH & SHARING
RETREAT |
St. Malachi is hosting a Faith and Sharing Retreat from July 25-28. The retreat is based on the vision and spirituality of Jean Vanier and is a shared journey of faith, prayer and celebration for all people, "who are rich or poor, weak or strong, big or small." The retreat will be a "day program," from 9 AM
with persons returning home about 8 PM. Young adults are especially welcome. Bob Kloos and Jane Ballanger of Beacon Street will be the retreat animators. Call Fr. Jim O'Donnell (566-0531).

HOMELESS TEACH-IN |
Join the Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless staff for a tour of homelessness in Cleveland, visiting shelters and a transitional living site. Discussion and refreshments following. Transportation provided.

"The 8th Annual St. Malachi Center Invitational Golf Outing is July 30 at Bob O'Link Golf Course, Avon beginning at 9AM; the 9-hole tournament begins at 11:30 AM. Fees: $75 per golfer for 18 holes, $45 for 9 holes (includes a cart, lunch & steak dinner). For non-golfers, dinner is available for $25. Bring a foursome! 3. Tuesday: Joint Parish-Community "Appreciative Inquiry" Planning Committee, 7 PM in the library
4. Wednesday: Quiet prayer before the Eucharist, 5:30-6:30 PM in church, all welcome
5. Thursday: Eucharistic Holy Hour for peace at 11:00 AM; Mass at Noon.

SUPPORT WELCOME
|
A meal without cost is served to the needy on Mondays at 6 PM in the parish hall. Coffee, sandwiches and doughnuts are served daily at the rectory. Volunteers are welcome, especially weekdays (861-5343). |

BACKDOOR NEEDS |
Clean, gently used (no holes) men's socks (any color) and L and XL sized men's t-shirts (white) are needed for the Backdcor Ministry. Thank you! |

PHONE BOOK RECYCLING |
As new phone books arrive, old ones can be recycled through the County's Recycling Program located at the MetroParks through June 30, including the Zoo (main entrance) & Rocky River (nature center). |
