Congratulations & God's blessings to Frs. Curt Kondik & Ed Janoch and their classmates, who were ordained priests on Saturday! Both served at St. Malachi as seminarians. Fr. Kondik will be here to celebrate with us at the 9:30 AM Mass on Sunday, June 4; Fr. Janoch will come later.
During Easter Season, we invite you to live Jubilee 2000's call to Open Wide the Doors to Christ, as we continue to focus on a specific Jubilee theme each week. Please pick up a "Jubilee Door", located near the holy water fonts, which has a specific suggestion this week to "Proclaim Good News".
We are entering the final week for St. Malachi Center's annual benefit raffle & tickets are still available!
The drawing on Memorial Day, May 29, will provide critical support for Center programs & activities.
Only 2,500 tickets are printed. The main prize is $10,000; tickets are $20 & are available after Mass.
The Catholic Council on Older Adults & the Marriage & Family Office sponsors the 18th Annual
Catholic Senior Celebration on Wednesday, May 31 at Holy Spirit, 410 Lear Rd. in Avon Lake. Music begins at 1:45 PM, Mass with Bishop Anthony M.Pilla at 2 PM followed by a social.

The 1st Annual Lou Schroeder Memorial Breakfast to benefit Malachi House is Sunday, June 4 from 9 AM to 1:30 PM in the hall. A meal without cost is served to the needy on Mondays at 6 PM in the parish hall. Coffee, sandwiches and doughnuts are served daily at the rectory. Volunteers are welcome (861-5343).
