All Loving God, Your Spirit has called us here to bless You by
honoring the good within each of us and others. We thank you, O God, for
the call to love and serve others in the precious gift of community. We
pray, now, for our faith community that it may continue to enrich each
of us and the many others we encounter each day.

(Prayer excerpt created by Kay Vine based on selections from Bishop John
Dearden’s Prophets of a Future Not Our Own and the CSM
Statement of Charisms and Values affirmed at the Annual Meeting on April
22, 2007)
