CSM HAIL AND FAREWELL DEPARTMENT…
|
…..The “hail” is for Nadge Herceg, who will take over as editor
of this twice-monthly CSM Newsletter beginning with the Oct. 14 issue.
Now residents of Avon Lake, she and her husband, Frank Herceg, joined the
Community of St. Malachi some 32 years ago, around the time the CSM was
officially recognized as a parish of the Diocese of Cleveland. A former school
teacher, Nadge now is a staff member at her local public library. As a member of
the CSM Communications Committee, for some time she has been a Prayer Alert
backup for Dolores Sullin. She can be reached at 440-930-2781 or nadgeh@eriecoast.com.
The “farewell” today is for me, Mary Englert, who is departing
only from the editor’s job, not from the CSM. I’ve been community-involved
since our first coming together in November 1967.
(Good Grief! Where did those 40 years go?) As newsletter editor for a good
many years, I’ve enjoyed and am grateful for the cooperation of so many
regular and occasional news contributors, rectory staffers, collators,
distributors and the like. Thanks to you all! And best wishes to Nadge! See y’all
in church…
