Message from Marty Miller:
“Frontline Hand of God - (WVIZ) 10
p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16 (90 minutes). In recent decades, more than 10,000 children
reportedly were sexually abused by Catholic priests in the USA. From behind the
headlines, filmmaker Joe Cultrera tells the very personal story of how
the crisis affected his own family in Salem, Mass. , how his brother Paul was
molested in the 1960s by Fr. Joseph Birmingham who reportedly also abused
nearly 100 other children. Paul Cultrera would keep his secret for 30
years until he finally decided to confront the church and launch his own
investigation.” - M.M.
