CSM Treasurer:
“Thank you! In the four weeks that have followed the
presentation in which the Finance Council informed the Community of St.
Malachi that our regular Sunday collections were not meeting our budget and
expense needs, we have had a significant increase in contributions – as
can be seen below. It was our feeling, in bringing this to the CSM, that
once you knew the situation you would respond in your usual generous manner
and the numbers below support that belief.
Please, keep it up and we will catch up and be able to do all the things
we are expected to do.”

Counseling Assistance Fund
The Catholic Conference of Ohio has announced the creation of the
Counseling Assistance Fund to help individuals who have been harmed as
minors by representatives of the Church.
This fund gives survivors of abuse the opportunity to receive counseling
or similar mental health services through a process independent of the
Church. Claims may be submitted during the next 18 months, through May 15,
2008. Please see the insert in today’s newsletter or visit the web site at

HOLIDAY FRUIT BASKETS – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Starting at noon Sunday, Dec. 10, we will again deliver fruit baskets to
the elderly at the Lakeview and Riverview High Rises. Volunteers are asked
to meet at St. Malachi Center. To help, or for information, call Sr.

purchases a light, in memory or in honor of the donor’s loved one, to be
placed on the evergreen trees in the Malachi House garden. Ceremonial
