wristbands have been produced with the witness logo on them. All proceeds
benefit St. Malachi Center. T-shirts are $10 each for a limited time and

LAST PRAYER WALK FOR PEACE
Following three years of walks, the St. Malachi Prayer Walk for Peace will be
discontinued after Wednesday, July 19. Anyone who has participated in the past
or who would like to join the final occasion, please meet at 7:15 p.m. July 19
at the church for a prayerful walk to Public Square and further prayer there.
All ages welcome. (The second last walk will take place July 12.)
BackDoor Daily Ministry
- Sandwiches, doughnuts and coffee are served daily at the rectory.

CSM CONGRATULATIONS
to Jerry Sheehan, who has been promoted to
the position at John Carroll University of vice president for government and
community relations. Best wishes, too, to Jerry and his bride, Dr. Julie
Keller, whose recent marriage had been delayed because of Julie’s leg
fractures.
CONGRATULATIONS
as well to Bobby Johansen for leading his team to
winning the People’s Choice Award at the Lego Olympics this summer. According
to Dolores Sullin, perseverance and know-how were attributes that Bobby
shared with others while they worked hard all spring to put the project
together. A regular altar server, he is the son of Bill and Michelle Johansen
and the grandson of Donna and Bob Simoneau.

A day for all men of the Community of St. Malachi and St. Malachi Parish
interested in doing men’s spiritual work. The day will offer men’s topics

St. Malachi Center - Virtus
“Protecting God’s Children” Training
Session - 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 11. Conducted by Pam Pulizzi,
with material provided by the diocese. Training helps those who
professionally or voluntarily work with children learn how to identify warning
signs of molestation, to control who has access to children, to monitor
programs, to learn to be aware, and to learn how to communicate concerns. To

St. Malachi Center - Young Teen Alliance Café annual

children are fed at the center each day.) Available to all children 18 years and
