Vibrant Parish Life – Phase II

“Purpose: This phase includes sharing priests, deacons, parish life coordinators, lay ecclesial ministers and other parish staff, as well as actively engaging the gifts of all the baptized. We accomplish this through education, planning, and collaboration in the clustering, reconfiguring and effective staffing of parishes.”

A 13-member team has volunteered to serve the Community of St. Malachi in the process:

Jim Connell, Chuck Garven, Eileen Garven, Gene Kramer, Paul Kunkel, John Lavelle, Jan Leitch, Gary Pritts, Stephanie Pritts, Bob Simoneau, Fr. Tony Schuerger, Kay Vine, Bruce Wacker

Their introductory meeting, led by Jim Connell, took place May 22. Their next will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, in the school library. The team’s principal responsibilities are to guide an ongoing education process and to guide the CSM with regard to proposed choices, by Oct. 1, of other parishes for our cluster. For those who have not yet read “An Introduction to Vibrant Parish Life – Phase II,” copies are still available at the main entrance of the church.

If you can help, please call me at 440-465-8317.” B.M. (Ed. Note: And Bill surely has the gratitude of the entire Community of St. Malachi for stepping up to Dave Starre’s plate!  God obviously brought Bill back to us from Ireland for this reason…– M.E.)
