TO ALL…A MERRY, HAPPY AND BLESSED

CHRISTMAS, NEW YEAR AND FEAST OF THE EPIPHANY !!

The annual ST. MALACHI EPIPHANY CELEBRATION will begin at 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan 8 in the church, with a brief service of readings and carols, followed by a special presentation by our children in “The Surprising Christmas Pageant.” The play is a re-telling of the traditional Christmas story with love, astonishment and lots of humor. A simple potluck will follow in the hall.

Main dish provided, but please bring a side dish to share.

St. Malachi Center - will host a training session of “Virtus: Protecting God’s Children” from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, Jan. 12. The training is to help children by learning the warning signs of abuse, how to control access to children, how to monitor programs, how to become more aware and how to communicate concerns. For more information or to register, call the center, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday, 216-771-3036.

Message from Bill McLaughlin: “Mark your calendars for Friday, Jan. 20. It’s the annual benefit for Fr. Jim O’Donnell’s Little Brothers and Sisters of the Eucharist. More information will come. Call me at 440-465-8317.”

Please keep in your prayers all the victims of warfare, both military and civilian, as well as these young people now in the armed forces, and their families: Ricky Brezinski, Daniel Bugaj, Brian Chambers, Brian Collins, Jim Curtin, Edward Dvorak, Christopher Dvorak, Gary Faerber, Carter Gaffney, Michael Gomez, T. J.
