The Community of St. Malachi – First Personal Parish of the Diocese of Cleveland
Celebrating Faith in God and in the Future!

Fifth Sunday in Lent

March 13, 2005

In addition to Easter Sunday and St. Patrick’s Day…
T W O   I M P O R T A N T   D A T E S !

Sundays, April 10 and April 17

April 10 - Commitment Sunday - About which here’s a message from Bill Johansen, president, Community of St. Malachi Council: “God has given each of us many gifts and talents. In fact, God intends for us to use these talents…and use a lot! As we pick up our recommitment forms, I ask that each of us reflect on those talents God has given us. Do we share them with others and glorify God? Or do we hide them away, thinking we have nothing to offer? Attached to this Sunday (13th)’s CSM Newsletter is a personal reflection sheet on the use of our talents both in the past year and our commitment to the coming year. I ask that you spend some time with this, increase your awareness of those unique talents you’ve been given and pray how they may bring joy to others this coming year.”

YOUR COMMITMENT FORMS ARE AVAILABLE AT COFFEE HOUR THIS SUNDAY (13TH)!

April 17 - CSM Annual MeetingFollowing our 11 o’clock Liturgy - This meeting will include election of members of the CSM Council, including three At-Large members and chairs of the Communications, Membership, Liturgy and Christian Formation committees. All CSM members are welcome to nominate themselves or others to serve in these vital capacities! This year’s Nominating Committee includes Marty Miller (216-531-9293), Bill Schibmehl (440-933-3954) and Jennifer DeJohn (216-227-9973).
