Because of this work, there is at present no parking permitted on the street to ensure access at all times for fire trucks and other emergency vehicles. There also has been progress in reconfiguring the entrance ramp to the Shoreway and preparing to install new traffic lights. As a result, there are mounds of dirt in the lot across the street, limiting parking. We do have permission to park in the lot on Detroit across the street from Massimo di Milano. We will continue to keep you informed as the project continues to unfold. Thank you for your patience and continued cooperation to make this as trouble-free as possible for all!” – AJS Another Message from Marie James and Kathy Carpenter: “There will be a reunion of present and former members who were early participants in the CSM – and anyone else who cares to join them – at 6 p.m. Friday, May 21, at Rosemarie and Steve DeJohn’s home, 1054 Nicholson Ave., Lakewood. Report from the Stewardship Task Force: Pat Burns discussed the many positive activities throughout the year (and to come) that have aided in raising money for the CSM, but more importantly, build fellowship, citing the St. Patrick’s Day party as a recent success. Kathy stated that the majority of her comments are available for the CSM in her report, and to let her know if you have any questions.
