CSM SYMPATHY AND PRAYERS for the family and friends of Danny Bucci, cousin of Marianne Kerr. Following is a message she shared from her aunt, Marilyn Sauer: “The drug-crazed boy you saw on the news, running down the street and attacking police cars, was my grandson, Danny, a good kid who made one big mistake that cost him his life. The hospital used every unit of A+ blood in northeast Ohio trying to save him and now there is a need to replace it. If any of you are willing, or can recruit someone else who is willing to donate blood, any kind but especially A+, PLEASE will you go right away and do it? And if you would ask that person taking it, to write down that it is being given in Danny Bucci’s name, that would mean a lot to me and Dan’s family – and it will mean a lot to the next person who has a need, as well.” Adds Marianne: “I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could help us out by donating blood. Please continue to keep our family in your prayers.” And Kathy Dugan reminds that American Red Cross Bloodmobile sites can be located by calling 1-800-Give Life or www.redcross.org/oh/northernohio-blood Sympathy and Prayers, too, for the families and friends of Ed Schake, uncle of Jane Smith, and for those of Jerry Consorte, a St. Malachi Parish member.
