A 1950 graduate, he spent 45 years in education, including 20 years as a principal in the Cleveland Public Schools system. His roster of social and community service would add pages to this newsletter but we must at least mention his CSM activities, including Eucharistic ministry to the Riverview Highrise, the Monday Night Meals and the St. Malachi Center Shower Program. Congratulations, too, to Gary Pritts Jr. who has been named a 2003 National Merit Commended Student at St. Ignatius High School, and to Katie Starrett, who received the Sacrament of Confirmation last month. * * * * * * * * * * * Catholic Charities of Cuyahoga County – encourages a “yes” vote on Issue 15 on May 6. “The dollars generated will furnish a major share of local support for programs benefiting abused and neglected children, the frail elderly, persons in need of mental health and drug addiction services and MetroHealth Medical Center’s burn unit, trauma center and life flight services.” Info: 216-696-6525, Ext. 3180.
