HOLY WEEK SCHEDULE

Monday: Mass at 7 a.m. and Noon. – Tenebrae (Service of Light and Darkness) at 7:30 p.m.

Confessions 11 a.m.-Noon and following Tenebrae

Tuesday and Wednesday: Mass at 7 a.m. and Noon. Confessions 11 a.m.-Noon.

Holy Thursday - Morning Prayer at 7 a.m. – Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 7:30 p.m. and

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament until 10 p.m.

(no 7 a.m. or noon Masses Holy Thursday or Good Friday)

Good Friday - Morning Prayer at 7 a.m. – Solemn Stations of the Cross at Noon

Commemoration of the Lord’s Passion, with Communion – 3 p.m.

Holy Saturday - Morning Prayer at 7 a.m. - Easter Vigil Mass at 7:30 p.m.

(no 4:30 p.m.. Mass)

Easter Sunday – Masses at 9:30 and 11 a.m. – and 12:30 p.m.

(Note: help is needed to prepare the church for Easter – 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and

4 p.m. Good Friday. Light refreshments will be served.)

to Charlene McElwee, Kay Vine, Mary Jane Treichel and the many others who devoted time, talent and presence to our Apr. 1 afternoon of prayer and reflection "With Him Along the Way: The Women on the Journey." The CSM and St. Malachi Parish men and women who came are glad they did. They found the service – our first of its kind -- moving and spiritually stimulating.

  • SOMETHING NEW – CSM Game Day – sponsored by the Hospitality Committee’s "Social Sub-Committee" with this invitation: "Come play, have fun and meet some new people!   • CSM Book Discussion Group – Meeting, 7 p.m. Wednesday, Apr. 25. Book: "Seat of the Soul" by Gary Zukav. Location: Rebecca Rocco, (440-838-8767). May book: "At Home in Mitford" by Jan Karon.
  • CSM Liturgy Committee - April meeting cancelled because of Easter holidays. Next meeting 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, in the rectory. All welcome. Information: Jeanette Shemo, 216-344-3841. 
  • Contemplative Prayer Group – Meetings 7-8:30 p.m. every other Wednesday, beginning Apr. 18, at St. Patrick Rectory, 3602 Bridge Ave. Open welcome to all members of our two St. Malachi parishes and St. Pat’s. Information: Mary Jane Treichel, 216-631-6872.
