A Message from the Hornings:
"Thank you for all the prayers and wonderful expressions of caring during the last few weeks. Duane is doing well after his quadruple bypass. He is walking a mile or more a day and has felt so much0 encouragement from the many cards, phone calls, visits and contact from our CSM family. My eye is healing and my sight is better each day. We are so thankful for all of you." -
Rose Horning
A Message from Mary Carol Lucic, Christian Formation
Chair:
"Our high school class, under the direction of the awesome Ms. Karen Duffy, has been studying the Gospel according to Matthew all year and will perform ‘Godspell’ based on that Gospel. Mark your calendars now. The grand show will be at 8 p.m. Sunday, Apr. 29, in the church. The entire CSM is welcome and encouraged to attend this stellar culmination of an intense year of study and preparation, by the students and teachers alike. - M.C.L.
A Message from Vicki Sefcik:
"COFFEE HOUR NEEDS YOUR HELP!
Coffee hour is the special place we all connect as a community and share. But what’s coffee without donuts? We need someone to pick up donuts for the coffee hour for one month out of each year. Just four Sundays a year, and you get a free donut, too! Without the wonderful help we get now, there would be no coffee hour. But we need yours, too! Please call me at 216-661-9101." – V.S.
A Message from Lois Dingman:
"At the end of my term as chairperson of the CSM Social Action Committee, I want to report the results of our committee’s Furnish-a-Room Drive for the West Side Catholic Center, in connection with our annual Giving Tree. First, I want to thank everyone for their donations. It cost $761 to furnish a new room for the expansion project, which was titled ‘Let Us Build a House Where Love Can Dwell.’ We raised $1635 because of the generosity of CSM members and their dedication to helping those less fortunate. In her letter of thanks, Aggie Hoskin, WSCC executive director, wrote: ‘Through the kindness of so many wonderful people, we will be able to provide a safe and secure facility, along with the financial security necessary for continuing our mission of serving those in need on Cleveland’s near West Side.’ " – L.D.
