First, a message from its chair, Jocelyn Heaney:
"There will be a meeting of the Membership Committee following our 11 o’clock Liturgy Sunday, Mar.
4, at 12:15 p.m., in St. Malachi Center.
There will be two main purposes:
- To discern leadership for the upcoming year (beginning 6/30/01), including committee chair, co-chair and activities coordinators.
- To discuss outreach efforts to new, newer, and prospective members.
"Please come if you feel called to a leadership role or, if not, please come anyway for the discussion to show your

Kostroman, father of Tony
Kostroman.
A Message to the Community of St. Malachi from Rebecca and Ken Rocco:
"Thank you so much for your support when my father entered hospice care and during the days
after we lost him Feb. 9. It was a long journey home, one he yearned to make. Your kind expression of support with prayers, cards, words of encouragement, hugs, and Masses for Dad is deeply appreciated. We felt truly supported by our faith community and at peace during this difficult time. Thank you." - R and K

Uschlbec, Rosemary Doyle, Rosemary Feighan, Peggy Finucane, and Louise

A Message to the CSM from Charlene McElwee:
"Being a music minister at St. Malachi has been a privilege, a blessing, and more fun than a barrel of altos.
a joy to work with talented, dedicated musicians who love and care about the ministry and the people we serve. It is a rare event when the chief musician can leave his or her post and know that even in their absence, all will be well.
Rich Bender has been a fortress of stability, organization and leadership. He and (in his own words) the lovely and talented Mrs. B. (a.k.a. Cynthia) are the first to arrive on Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings to deal with stands, folders, wires and sound.
Ann Marie Malasi did a fabulous job of musical direction on several Sundays and, in addition to her always delightful singing, helped to organize our
Epiphany-Jubilee observance. Nora Owens also did a fine job of directing the Sunday crew in early November and
Debbie Mihalik organized a caroling party to minister in area nursing homes. We are so lucky to have this kind of talent and service in our midst! Bravo and heartfelt thanks to all!" -

A Message from Ollie Traylor, President, Riverview Towers Local Advisory Committee:
"On behalf of the Riverview tenants, I would like to take this time to thank you for the many wonderful things that you have done for us in the past. Without your donations, many of our tenants would not have had food and clothing. Your fruit baskets and the help of your church family delivering them brought smiles to a lot of the seniors, shut-ins and low-income tenants here at Riverview Towers. We would like to also take this time to thank the families and friends who took time out of their busy schedules to deliver the baskets. May God bless you and keep you and your church family. Thank you." - OMT
