In an effort to meet the needs of CSM members and others in our area, the Liturgy Committee will present a Funeral Planning Workshop twice.

Information will include: The Church’s ministry to the sick and dying, What our Faith teaches about the body and cremation. The role of funeral directors; services they can provide. Catholic cemeteries and burial services. Planning the Rite of Christian burial; wakes, liturgies, receptions. The grieving process; ministry and resources of the Community of St. Malachi and other parishes; other resources available to the wider community.

Practices for the newly-forming choir will continue at 2 p.m. Saturdays, in the church.

This choir will sing at one Liturgy each month. Youngsters aged 8-plus welcome.

To help, call Sr. Francis, 216-861-5343. …to take Communion once or twice a month to the sick at St. Vincent Charity Hospital, from 4-5 p.m. weekdays and 2-3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. The hospital is at 2351 East 22 St. Qualifications asked for: certification, mobility, compassion, interest and concern for the sick.  Orientation will be provided.
