"
The Poor are the Heart of the Church"

Fr. Jim spoke About the poor as our gift, the poor as salvation, the poor as the reason we are at St. Malachi's, and also for the importance of acknowledging the poor as loved, allowing them the opportunity to give and share.
and
Dr. Barnard Offerman  talking about
 Justice in Employment
.
If you remember Dr. Offerman you may recall his teaching Labor Relations at Cleveland State University from 1974 to 1982.  He also served on the Cleveland Mayor's Committee on Equal Employment and as Chair of the Catholic Community Action.  'Barney' was also a member of the Community of Saint Malachi.  If not you can learn about some of the issues surrounding those exciting days of change - and of course what remains to be accomplished!
