GENERAL CONSENSUS OF GROUP DISCUSSION
FOLLOWING PRESENTATION ON EDUCATION
The group felt very strongly a need for Adult
Christian Formation. We felt that this should begin with information gathered from
people more knowledgeable than we. With this as a beginning we could perhaps begin
some adult discussion and Bible Study groups. Fr. La Verdiere was one scholar who we
strongly encouraged the Community to seek out.
As far as the children are concerned we felt
that it is really the parents' responsibility to impart the Christian message to them.
Activities recommended for the children according to their levels are:
discussion groups, learning experiences, special liturgies, parties, etc. Youth
should be consulted as to their needs.
Sr. Barbara has offered her services to speak
on handing on the message to children up to 7 years of age.
